  • Atlander Tire is owned by Atlander Tire Co. Ltd. which makes tires dedicated to the US market. The Atlander range of tires is manufactured in Thailand and the manufacturer specializes in making high-performance radial tires that are eco-friendly and contribute to low carbon emissions. The wide range of tires offered by Atlander in the US subcontinent includes all-season, all-terrain, mud-terrain, highway, and rugged terrain tires. The Atlander ROVERCLAW A/T is a dependable and affordable all-terrain tire that’s designed for use on light trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs, and is optimized for increased on- and off-road traction. The tire sports tread, compound, and technologies that boost traction, provide durability and allow the tire to perform in different terrain types and climatic conditions. If you’re looking for a value-for-money all-terrain tire and don’t wish to spend a higher amount in getting your drive fitted with the best set of on- and off-road capable tires, then this Atlander ROVERCLAW A/T review will help you make an informed decision.

    Features and Benefits

Typically, all-terrain tires are built and designed to offer the best of both worlds. They help you in cruising on long highways and paved roads and also let you tackle climbing rocks and sail through muddy terrains occasionally. One by one, let’s uncover the tech and features of the ROVERCLAW A/T tire and find out how they benefit in scaling the performance.

    • Reliable on- and off-road traction – The tire sports an aggressive tread pattern that boosts on- and off-road traction and performance. All thanks to the open shoulders, staggered block placement, and siping across the tread, the ROVERCLAW A/T delivers reliable performance on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. Additionally, these elements create sharper biting edges to ease forward motion during occasional off-roading.
    • Dependable year-round performance – The ROVERCLAW A/T is designed and engineered for dependable year-round performance. It features an all-season tread compound that adapts to changing temperatures to provide better grip and confident driving in dry, wet, and light wintry conditions.
    • Optimum self-cleaning and damage resistance – An all-terrain tire, other than its standard capabilities, can also be judged by its self-cleaning abilities. This is where the ROVERCLAW A/T stands out and keeps the footprint clean for increased contact with the surface in muddy and snowy conditions. Additionally, the tire also features impressive damage resistance and prevents the tread from stone retention and cuts and chips.
    • Enhanced controllability – The flat contact patch, deeper tread, sharper biting edges, and detailed sipes boost the overall controllability of the ROVERCLAW A/T. On both, paved roads and milder off-road conditions, the tire provides greater steering command to the driver, assuring good control and confident driving performance.
    • Improved hydroplaning resistance – The zigzag groove pattern across the tread helps force out water, slush, and dirt from the contact patch area for improved wet traction and hydroplaning resistance.
    • Appealing and rugged looks – The appearance of the ROVERCLAW A/T is rugged and stylish. The muscular appeal is visible on the sidewalls and variants are also available in Outlined White Letter nomenclature. Likewise, the tread area looks rugged and has sharper edges for improved biting ability in different conditions.
    • Tread life warranty coverage – Atlander backs the ROVERCLAW A/T with a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty, ensuring complete peace of mind to the buyers.

This Atlander all-terrain tire is available between 15- to 22-inch rim sizes, which means it is compatible with a larger set of SUVs, Jeeps, and light trucks in the country. Some of its available sizes include:

Atlander RoverClaw AT. Good looking tire. Good priced tire. Very poor balancing tire. Had one tire warranty claimed for road force, another sent out. Installed and it's worse (45lbs road force) than the one I sent back. To be fair, the other 3 (three) balanced poorly, just not as bad, on actual brand new rims. Considered buying or warranty claiming yet again another tire. Or cut my loss on now 5 tires and go with a different brand and supplier. Which all, is extremely disappointing. Buyer beware.
