  • Beginning its journey in 2009, Atturo Tire quickly gained popularity for its unique tire sizes and high-quality light truck and SUV tires. From its world-class factories in Taiwan and Thailand, it produces staggered tire sizes that helped the brand gain recognition among off-road enthusiasts. In a short span of time, the incredibly capable, knife-blade-inspired tires and their affordable cost made the Atturo brand a huge success. Among its tire lines, it was the Atturo Trail Blade M/T series which led the company from being unknown to a recognized name in the SUV and 4x4 tire segments.

The Trail Blade M/T is a mud terrain tire that features beveled center tread blocks, wide track draining, extra deep tread extending into the sidewall, and staggered shoulder blocks. These features ensure the tire delivers exceptional performance and superb traction on challenging muddy terrains. The sturdily built tire features a 3-ply sidewall design for extra strength. It is available in 16 exciting sizes ranging from 16 to 22 inches. Without further ado, let’s find out the factors in this Atturo Trail Blade M/T tire review that enable it to deliver the claimed performance.

    Features and Benefits

Mud terrain tires are built to provide superior traction in tough, muddy terrains. The grooves and blocks of the tread are designed to resist hydroplaning and lend more grip in the slippery environment. The Trail Blade M/T promises the same, let’s how it does that.

    • Superb traction and grip – The beveled center tread blocks provide superb grip in muddy terrains while the wide track-draining shoulder voids expel water and mud quickly to resist tire spin. The staggered shoulder blocks provide lateral grip when turning and the deep tread extends into the sidewall for extra traction and confident performance.
    • Great on road manners – The beveled center tread blocks not only provide excellent grip and traction but also aid in reducing noise and vibration when driving on highways. Shoulder voids are wide and come with stone ejectors that help in deterring dirt, mud, rock, and debris. This makes the tread clean and improves its grip on paved as well as unpaved roads.
    • Solid tread life – Extra deep tread provides superior grip and resists uneven wear. The use of special, high-strength rubber compound not only assists in providing sturdy tread but also excellent wearability in challenging conditions. The availability of a 3-ply sidewall design adds extra strength to the LT sizes and improves puncture resistance.

    Pros and Cons

While the Trail Blade M/T offers some great value at its cost, there are some not-so-cool things too about the tire. Let’s have a look at the pros and cons of the tire before wrapping up the Atturo Trail Blade M/T review.

    Pros

    • Staggered shoulder blocks for lateral grip on soft surfaces
    • 3-ply sidewall for extra durability
    • Affordable price yet remarkable performance
    • Extra deep tread for superior grip and traction in mud
    • Wide shoulder voids for enhanced grip
    • Stone ejectors promote self-cleaning for consistent traction and to protect the casing from damage
    • Beveled center tread blocks for better grip and reduced on-road noise

    Cons

    • Not the best at cornering on wet surfaces
    • The tire wears a bit faster than other expensive options
    • Not a great option for rock crawling

SimpleTire’s view on Atturo Trail Blade M/T tires

In the end, the Atturo Trail Blade M/T (starts around $164) impresses with its exceptional mud performance, great soft soil handling, and superior grip in the most challenging conditions. However, it may leave you wanting more while rock crawling and wet cornering. It’s the aggressive price point where it beats its competitors comprehensively though.

It takes on the likes of Toyo Open Country M/T (starts around $256) and BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3 (starts around $199). These are certainly better options than the Atturo but it's tempting price tilts the verdict in its favor.

Vehicles the Atturo Trail Blade M/T is a good replacement tire for

While Atturo Trail Blade M/T isn’t an OE fitment for any vehicle, it’s a great replacement tire option for a variety of light trucks and SUVs such as Nissan Frontier, Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan, Jeep Wrangler, and many more.

Mud tire with excellent tread wear, minimal noise and great off road traction for a fraction of the price of a name brand tire.

I've tried 4-5 different styles and brands of tires the past year as I'm always changing setups on my truck and i will say hands down these tires have been the best in the wet Florida weather and beast wearing tire. these are on the loud side but that does not bother me at all. If you're looking for a cheaper option that will preform these are the go to.

Ive ran these tires for almost 4 years and will continue to run them on my trucks as long as they keep this tread pattern. It wears even its fairly quiet for an MT and they perform great in all conditions.

Very good tires in the road and off the road haven't put them in anything super crazy but from going back and forth to the hunting lease and to work down a dirt road they have been great for grip and during the ice/snow we got first part of the year they did great would definitely buy again
