Not what they used to be
Unfortunately I would go with a different tire. I'm a mechanic and I've been putting Assurance brand tires on 3 Toyota cars for the last 15 years, relying mostly based on Consumer Reports reviews. What I've noticed in recent years is the performance is no longer what it used to be. Terrible traction in wet weather, we're talking light rain, not some of the monsoons that roll through here, and in dry weather the tires spin like there's some gas or oil on the street. I will say they last a long time, but I'd rather have performance than life span. My last set I had installed in 2021 on a Corolla (not a daily driver car) were apparently not manufactured correctly causing weird bulges around the rims, which I noticed after install, resulting in having to leave my car at Goodyear for a 2nd day so I could get different tires installed. My observation is that Goodyear isn't the same solid & reliable tire company it used to be. I won't say what tire I'm going to go with next, don't want to be seen as hawking a specific product, but it definitely won't be Goodyear brand.
Great tires, very quiet and smooth ride

Always easy to select tires and affordable prices.
Comfort, safety and price...that's why I shop with simple tire.
I have had a pretty good experience so far!
So far they have been good so I'm exited to see how far they hold up!
Worst tire I have ever used
I recently purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance tires for my company issued 2023 Jeep Compass 4x4. These are absolutely the worst tire I have ever had. After driving on them for about 15 miles, I went back to the Jeep dealer where I had them installed and advised of a wobbly ride, loud road noise and vibration at highway speeds. They checked the balance on each tire and they were in spec. I took it to another dealer and they said the balance was in spec as well. A co -worker had also just put on the Goodyear Assurance tire on his 2022 Compass and is experiencing the same issues I am. I most likely will not buy a Goodyear brand tire in the future.

Overall, great tires.
Traction not the greatest when raining hard but otherwise i'm still on the move.
Good looking, good wearing tire.
I installed these tires on my wife's mini-van and we are very pleased with the overall look and performance in both dry and wet conditions. I would definitely purchase this product again.
Goodyear...what more needs to be said!!!
Comfort...safety...name says it all!!!
