These tires were on my truck when I purchased it in December of 2020. A regular Ford Expedition. I am finally replacing them tomorrow. I have gotten 69,500 miles out of them so I'd say that's a pretty good amount of usage from the tires. There are two things I didn't like the first of which I would always have slippage in the snow, which may have been only up to 5 inches even in 4x4. The other negative is that in the rain I would slip braking. The last thing is, which it's not the tire company's fault but the year they were produced was 2012 so that's a bit of a stretch to put on a new 2020 vehicle. But that is the car manufacturer, the dealership and my fault for not checking the dates when I purchased the car. The tires have done their job, though the last several months I had to pump them up a couple times a week, but they should have been replaced 2,000 miles ago. I hope this review helps someone, all in all good tires, the slipping could have been user error. Finally, am i buying the same ones again? No, I'm getting the Toyo Open County A/T.

South Korean tire manufacturer Hankook is among the world’s largest tire manufacturers, and they roll out tires for passenger cars, CUVs, SUVs, light trucks, electric vehicles, and commercial vehicles in different categories such as all-season, all-terrain, winter, UHP, summer, all-weather, and commercial. Among the all-terrain tires, the Dynapro ATM (RF10) is an excellent option for owners of SUVs, Jeeps, 4x4, and light trucks as it offers great performance on tough terrains.
The Dynapro ATM (RF10) features rugged looks that provide excellent traction on rough roads and in severe snow conditions. With the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification for LT sizes, this Hankook tire offers superior grip, traction, and handling in moderate to heavy winter conditions. The reinforced construction and strong sidewall design provide strong resistance to cuts, punctures, and bruises. It comes with stone ejectors that expel debris, rocks, and other particles from the surface to lend a reassuring grip and traction. The P-metric sizes come with a solid 50,000 miles of limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
So, does the tire have enough to sail you through tough roads? Let’s try to find the answer by knowing its features that assure great all-terrain performance in this Hankook Dynapro ATM (RF10) tire review.
Features and Benefits
All-terrain tires are engineered with tough blocks and high-strength rubber compounds to resist harsh road conditions. The Dynapro ATM (RF10) tick marks all the boxes to qualify for a great all-terrain tire. Let’s have a look at its features and benefits to understand it more.
- High-strength durability – The sturdy built and reinforced carcass of the Hankook tire provides the necessary strength to the structure for conquering uneven, rough roads. The optimized block structure is rigid enough to deter stones and rocks and the availability of stone ejectors ensures no debris or stones get stuck in the grooves. The LT sizes come with strong sidewalls for carrying heavy loads.
- Great grip and stability – Deep and wide grooves with criss-cross-shaped blocks ensure the tread gets a strong grip over the surface. The connected grooves allow confident drive on snow, ice, and water as they quickly remove them to regain traction and avoid hydroplaning. The dense sipes, thick center rib, and strong shoulder design not only provide enhanced grip but also improved stability and even wear.
- Improved on-road performance – While the off-road grip and handling of the Dynapro ATM (RF10) is superb, the tire doesn’t disappoint either when it comes to on-road manners. While the solid shoulders with deep grooves provide better stability on paved roads, the steering response is great thanks to the thick center rib.

While the Hankook tire is highly reliable, it comes with some shortcomings, too. Let’s glance over the pros and cons of the tire before having our say at the end of the Hankook Dynapro ATM (RF10) review.

I believe these became standard issue on 2015 F-150s, and I'd always liked the look of them. Reviews are consistently good, so when it was time to replace the tires on my 2014 F-150, these were at the top of my list to check out. Great proce from Simple Tire made the decision easy. So far, love them. Quiet, better mileage than my old tires (which were admittedly more offroad friendly than onroad), and look good. No problems in the heavy summer rains in MD this year, and I expect they'll be fine with snow, should we actually get any!
Mildly aggressive tread, virtually no noise. Handle great when dry, but a little slip when wet and taking off from a stop. Would buy again, great deal!

Bought these about a month ago as a replacement set that came stock on my 2018 Ford 150 XLT 4x4. Great tires that lasted the warranted 50k. They are quiet, comfortable ride and great road grip.
This is my second set of hankook tires I love them they have a great tread wear life and they're great all terrain they clean mud really well.
I love these tires. I've got 35x12.5r22 (I can't remember the metric size). So they are big. Almost 3 feet high and I can cruise quietly at 90mph and have been for 5 years now in Utah. They are bald and I'm buying a new set before winter. I have zero complaints about these. My odometer is off and I bought these used 5 years ago so I don't know exact miles out of these. But ive had them in my daily driver for 5 years and when I bought them they had maybe 50% left on them. I can't say enough good about these. The ride is rough on the street, but Ive got 22" rims and they are bald so that's expected. They are on a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban with a 8" lift
They are very good wearing tires. The tread stayed even for the whole life of my first set. That's why I bought another set. They ride a little stiff because high load ratings. This also let's then corner like a sports car. The grip the road very good dry roads. They do spin a little during hard acceleration on wet roads. All and all they are great truck tires.
