Needed a new and more functional set of tires for my truck. Was not fully sold that these tires would meet all my needs, but the price point pushed my final decision to make the purchase. Tires arrived to by door step within 48 hours. Had them mounted and balanced, and was very surprised at how they improved the ride in both steering and comfort right away, and how quite they were for a more aggressive tread pattern. I drive on average of 30 miles a day five days a week on asphalt to and from work, and a large mix of; sand, gravel, dirt and mud in the evenings and weekends. These tires have made very impressive off pavement travel as I am often pulling a large trailer and heavy tractor with cutting implements through fields dirt roads. The tread wear has been great, as stated I am daily driving on these tires, and they are mounted on a early 90's 4x4 1 ton work truck.

Those who have to frequently take their Jeeps, light trucks, or SUVs over difficult terrains would do well to buy Milestar Patagonia X/T tires. Available with a limited manufacturer tread life warranty, these extreme terrain tires are built with cut and chip-resistant rubber compounds for high durability. Other tires in the same segment include the Nitto Ridge Grappler and Goodyear Duratrac. The inner and outer ribs of the center tread block are connected to keep the vehicle stable. Read our Milestar Patagonia X/T review carefully to determine if this is the right tire for you and your ride.
Features and Benefits
Milestar Patagonia X/T tires are Three Peak Mountain Snowflake Certified, which means they can be driven in conditions ranging from moderate to severe snow. Deeper voids help to pass through deep snow and mud, which is useful for cold and rainy areas. Massive stone ejectors are present in the inner and outer ribs to remove stones and debris from the tire’s contact patch, thereby preventing sidewall damage. Extra biting edges all around the ribs help gain more traction in snow and mud. In a similar manner, elaborate siping is responsible for excellent water dispersion. A three-ply structure ensures that the tires are super strong, enabling them to sport a load index of 2,833 pounds.
Pros and Cons
An open-shoulder tread design in this Milestar tire is responsible for great traction on all types of surfaces. The tire is fitted with a rim protector for safety and is available from sizes 15 to 20. What’s more, the aggressive tread pattern despite its working class utility gives a high Milestar Patagonia X/T rating.
PROS
- Evacuate water to increase hydroplaning resistance
- Extra outer rib available for cooling the tire to prevent irregular wear
- Strong tire due to three-ply construction
- Rugged tread blocks at the center enhance stability, even in heavy duty applications
- Backed by a 40,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- Smooth and quiet on highways
CONS
- Not very good when it just starts to rain
- Somewhat noisy at higher speed
SimpleTire’s view on Milestar Patagonia X/T tires
Our Milestar Patagonia X/T tire review showed how these tires are suitable for both off-road and on-road terrains. A tread life warranty of 40,000 miles makes them even more attractive, as does the high stability and great performance. When in the market, you’ll find it to be much cheaper than the Nitto Ridge Grappler. This tire also looks good while offering several features for light truck and SUV users. Although some tires of the same load range can be difficult to mount, Milestar Patagonia X/T is fairly straightforward. You will love the fact that warranty-related information is mentioned very clearly on the Milestar website.

Got these in a 285/75/16 for my 05 2500 suburban... first impression. Great looking tire... we mount and balance our own tires and these did not balance out very good 2/5 on that.... Only had one "good" tire out of the 4 I received 1.75oz inside and outside no hop or wiggle In tire... 2 had a slight wiggle. Still took 2.5 outside and 3.5 inside... the 4 th tire has a BAD wiggle in it and slight hop. That tire wanted 4.75oz outside and 2.25 inside we did some rotating of the tire on the wheel and got it down to 3.75 outside and 2oz inside... stil way outside of where this size tire should have been on weight taken, (the BAD wiggle in it doesn't help either) took down the highway and these tires are dead quiet for how aggressive they are that's for sure! Very slight hum at 75-80mph. Slight vibration as well but better than the venoms we took of my suburban... these have much stiffer sidewall than the venom terra hunter but they ride much better at 42psi than the venoms at 35-55 psi Decent-good grip on gravel, sand is ok but they are pretty aggressive so I wasn't expecting much in sand as you want flotation in sand... dry road- they feel good and planted, stiffer sidewall yes but they ride so much better than the venom terra hunter... I wasn't able to find a lot of reviews on these tires except for snow reviews (which were all excellent) This is real world first impression not YouTube first impression Hope this helps someone else out looking into these tires
Great tires so far probably have 5000 miles on them. They do in fact have the three peak mountain snowflake rating despite what the website says they are an excellent winter tire so far they do well in snow slush and ice probably much better than any BFG richer or anything like that
Very good looking tire but still quiet and smooth. Dont have much mileage on them but they are almost silent.
So far they tow great, good in the rain and they're pretty quiet
Replaced my Nitto's with these and I'm glad I did! No more road noise, great traction on and off road, and the PRICE was great.
Haven't had them long enough to see what the treadwear will be also haven't had them on snow. They are very quiet for an aggressive tire. Ride is smooth. The only downfall is that they fling rocks really bad. Anything 1.5" or smaller gets stuck in the tread and flings them.
